- Please notify the teacher if your child needs to leave the class early.
- If your child will be absent, please let the teacher know before the class starts. If you forget to notify the teacher, please do so next time your child is in school. If you don't, and your child misses school three times without the teacher's knowledge in one semester, your child may not go to the next grade level next year unless he/she passes a test administered by his/her class teacher and the Director of Teaching.
- Please encourage your child to come to school.
- Please follow the school rules. If you have any suggestions, you may use the suggestion box located in the cafeteria or talk to the school staff directly.
- Please read the information on the bulletin board located outside of the cafeteria.
- The school teachers, staff members, and parent representatives are all volunteers. They need your support and encouragement. Your involvement in school activities is most welcome.
- Please read the school newsletter and pass the information on to your children. If you need the English version of the school newsletter, please contact your child's teacher or the Director of Bilingual Department.
- Parent duty dates are listed on your child's registration confirmation that is sent out before the school year starts. The school also posts the parents' names on the school newsletter each week to remind the parents who are on duty in the next two weeks. If your name is on the list, please check in with the school secretary by 1:50 P.M. on your assigned duty dates. The Secretary will inform you of your job for that day. Typical jobs for parent duties include: patrol/disciplinary officers, and assistants in the snack bar (cafeteria), library, office, and kindergarten.
- Please don't stay outside of the classroom while the class is in session.
- In case of an emergency, it is easier to contact you if you remain in the school. The school has various activities for parents to participate during school hours.
- If you or your company would like to place an advertisement on our bulletin board, newsletter, directory, or year book, please contact the Secretary. If you have information from non-profit organizations that you want to share with other parents in the school, please check with the Vice Principal before you do so. There is no soliciting in the school without permission.
- The school is a non-profit organization. Your donation is most welcome and tax deductible.
- The language classes are only two hours every week. Please help your child to learn Chinese while he/she is not in school. Encourage your child to make friends in the class.
- Please make sure your child has his/her textbook and school supplies before each class.
- Please help to keep our children safe. Please don't let your child leave the school campus unattended.
